Emphasizing the process of creative play, "Ha Ha This A-Way's" Creative Movement/Theatre Arts Summer Day Camp offers children an exciting variety of dance, drama, art, clowning, circus arts, puppetry, storytelling, music, aikido, sign language, yoga and nature experiences in an encouraging, non-competitive environment. Ideally suited for children, five to nine years old, who are entering kindergarten through fourth grade, our program goals are to have fun while promoting movement confidence, balance, cooperation, performance skills, communication, self-esteem and individual creative expression. Each session concludes with a display of the children's Summer Camp Art and a Movement/Theatre, Dance, Circus and Clowning performance highlighting the children's camp experience. | In keeping with our goal of providing a program particularly suited to the needs of young children, we maintain a staff to child ratio of 1:6. Camp founder/director, Jim Beatty trains, works with and supervises our experienced & talented staff. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
